This month's Pulse highlights reports published by Ofsted covering topics including: good practice in meeting the needs of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller pupils, effective leadership of children's services and on where responsibility for Early Help lies.
In criminal justice, a number of progress reports were published on: the government's serious and organised crime strategy; the sexual violence against children and young people national group; the ending gang and youth violence programme; and a call to end violence against women and girls.
In adult social care and health, the Department of Health published a report outlining progress against the actions set out in "Living Well for Longer: National support for local action". The JRF have also published a report on the costs of the cuts on local government and poorer communities.
